  I have always had great affinity and love for nature and have been drawn to expressing the beauty, calm and the mystery of what I see and feel using many different mediums. These series of oil on canvas paintings were born out of my pure inspiration after spending a week painting with Eastern European artists in the landscapes of Poland, at an art residency. Their mastery of this medium and The Landscape was humbling and I was determined to make my landscapes go to whole new level using oil paints vs. pastel which is very different to work with.

  My instinctual desire for beauty, balance and harmony always leads the way to create and the equally present sense of destruction carves out what becomes a painting.
